Its naturally weathered tones and distressed finish reveals warm walnut brown undertones, layered with years of wear and texture. Every mark, grain shift and imperfection adding to its beauty which a ‘new’ piece, simply can’t replicate.
Original hardware remains intact, aged gracefully alongside the timber. May have slight unevenness but it’s part of the design - features a kind of charm only possible with an old piece of furniture. Avoid using Sprays, Chemicals, Wipes, Water - We recommend dry dusting only. Use trays/placemats where possible and wipe any spills straight away. All Elm Furniture should be treated as Raw Wood, If you prefer additional protection, you may apply several coats of clear matte varnish at your own discretion.
