Genuine Antique, over 100yrs old, originating from the provinces of China and carefully restored without losing any of its original character or authenticity - hardware, brackets and studs in tact.
Constructed from solid wood: featuring hand-forged iron hardware and riveted detailing, evoking the charm of old-world architecture. Raw, naturally weathered finish adds a distinctive look.
Truly one-of-a-kind, with its own unique size, style and character - these cannot be replicated. Use them as wardrobe, sliding or entry doors, dress up a bare wall or behind a bed for a stunning focal point in any space of the home.
Adjustments and modifications will need to be made as they don’t sit flat due to the ancient dowel operating system. We’ve propped the middle using a block of wood to make them sit flush. Any carpenter can place a batten on the back to fix in place (if you wish to use them as headboards)
Note: Authentic Antique so they’re OLD, markings, cracks, gaps and chips should be embraced as part of the design. Not polished or refined (this style is NOT meant to be)
